To use the crossbars: Step 1: Connect - Insert the polyester strap into the spindle slot and pull it through, then pull the strap up and back to remove any slack. Step 2: Tighten - Securely tighten the tie-down strap by pressing down and pulling up on the ratchet handle. Step 3: Release - Pull the handle up and over to the open flat position to allow for easy removal or adjustment. Step 4: Remove - Loosen the strap by pulling it up and then removing it from the ratchet.
